Several midweek makeup matches, many with relegation implications. However the “big” winner was Preußen Münster, which played a decent match and seized control of the important 3rd spot. Heidenheim could only gain a draw at Halle, so they fall behind in the race, and with Osnabrück now trail the Münsteraner by a full 4 points.

Babelsberg got an usually large crowd for an eastern derby against Rostock, and importantly got the win as well. The Potsdamers are a point above the relegation line, so this was huge. Erfurt got a win against Aachen that just about assures their 3rd level position for next season. Alemannia isn’t mathematically eliminated, but are just about done. Dortmund got another point in their fine comeback. Darmstadt lost ground, as although they gained a point against Chemnitz, they were up a man for almost 30 minutes.

Now only two makeup matches remain, both with BVB II: they’ll face Erfurt and Babelsberg with critical relegation points at stake.
