Bayern rules Europe

Bayern München defeated Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in the Champions League final and is officially crowned as Europe’s dominant club. I’m sure most of you had a chance to watch the match, so no real need to go into the details. Overall, it was an excellent match, with both teams going for the win. Dortmund had an early edge, but as the match wore on, Bayern began to assert control. I would say they deserved to win, although one will have to wonder if Mario Götze wouldn’t qualify as “playing” for his new club, since he might have been able to tip the scales in the Neons favor early on.

As fans of German football, it’s nice to see the Bundesliga on top, and it was a dominant campaign by Bayern and almost as good by Dortmund.
