3.Liga, Round 15

Heidenheim was the big winner, as they increased their lead at the top. They defeated Holstein Kiel on the road, who have been struggling after their good start. The hosts played hard, but FCH showed why they are the leaders. Overall, the bottom clubs did fairly well this round. None better than tail-end Burghausen, which upended Darmstadt, despite being a man down. This gives Wacker some hope, as they are now in striking distance. Leipzig moved into 2nd with the win over Dortmund B.

Preußen Münster was the biggest loser, as they lost at home to Hansa Rostock in a battle of struggling teams. The win gives Rostock some stability now, whereas Münster is still in crisis mode. It was a pretty even match, with the home side having somewhat of an edge, but not knowing what to do with it. Hansa was well prepared and delivered a good match and gets the points.

Marc Kienle debuted as coach for Wehen, but it was same-old-same-old as the Weheners sucked against Regensburg.
