2.Liga, Round 28

Round 28, Mar 10-14

Karlsruhe remains in the promotion hunt, as they thumped St.Pauli. The key was ex-Paulista Rouwen Hennings, who bagged a quick brace to put KSC in commanding position.

Aalen was unlucky to get only a point at Union. They played well and seemed to be on the way to a crucial away win, but a late penalty have the Berliners the draw.

Braunschweig had an easy time with 1860. They scored quickly and then played around before finishing things off against the toothless Lions.

Ingolstadt looks set for the Bundesliga as they get a routine win at Heidenheim. The Schanzer would really have to collapse not to get promoted.

Darmstadt was somewhat fortunate to get a draw at Nürnberg. The 98ers were largely outplayed, but FCN couldn’t finish things off.

Leipzig got their first road win of the year at Bochum, largely deserved.
