SG Andernach 99 SG Andernach 99 The club was founded in 1910 and over the next 10 years was joined by a few other minor clubs. In 1938, the crummy gymnasts of Turnerbund 1867 were integrated into the club, which was then renamed SpVgg 1867. Despite wasting resources on gymnastics, the club was able to maintain play in the Gauliga until 1943, when they volutarily withdrew. After a short post-war ban, SpVgg started up again in September 1945.
The gymnasts were finally booted out in 1950, and the club reverted to SpVgg 1910. In 1992, the soccer sections of BSV 1910 Andernach and DJK Boulla Andernach joined with SpVgg to form as Spielgemeinschaft and compete as one club. In 1999, the 3 clubs merged permanently to become SG 99.
