A new club that is making a move to become the 2nd force in Dresden.
FV Dresden-Nord was founded in 1990 through a merger of Motor TuR Dresden-Übigau and Dynamo Dresden-Heide. The latter was essentially a youth devleopment organization for Dynamo Dresden. The merger has to be considered successful, as DN has moved into respectability.
