SV Grimma

The club was founded in 1919. It was restarted after WW-II and went through several name changes, before establishing itself as BSG Motor Grimma in 1958. Success was limited to 2nd division GDR leagues in the late 1990s.

After reunification, Grimma established itself in the local Sachsenliga, and then in the Oberliga.

The club has about 780 members.

The soccer section on the main site has an obscure link: www.fussball.sv-grimma.de. This is quite decent.
