Vatan Spor Bremen Vatan Spor Bremen A Turkish based club in Bremen that has played in the upper levels of the local amateur divisions.
The club was founded in 1978, and the soccer club started a quick climb up the league ladder. Wrestling was offered in 1981, and the team soon won the regional championship, but lack of funds forced discontinuation. Meanwhile, the soccer team made an amazing jump to the Oberliga by the 1995.
There are about 150 active members. Not surprisingly, most are Turkish, although on the squad there was also an Italian and Bulgarian (2004).
